CDYSL: U-10 & U-12 Youth coaching module is scheduled for
January, 20th 2007 in Colonie. This is a good chance for coaches to
meet CDYSL's license requirement. Cost is $25. Funds may be available
for Top soccer events; request should be submitted to CDYSL. ENY provides
insurance for Directors and Officers. Online registration will be mandatory
next season. Oneonta will no longer be part of the spring league. Applications
for scholarships will be available soon. The Empire Cup is scheduled
for July 14th and 15th, 2007. State Cup finals to be held at Gavin Park

to Sue at skeefner@nycap.rr.com.
TOURNAMENT: 2007 Tournament will stay the same and be held on
the weekend of July 6th and 7th. After discussion and weighing all the
factors, this years tournament dates will not change; however 2008 dates
will be announced in this year's application so teams have ample time
to adjust their plans. Good possibility this year we will have a U-23
bracket. Tournament Committee is still looking for individuals to take
over key chair positions.
VOLUNTEER: A few teams still need to get
their volunteer Coordinator information to Renee Barlow. This needs
to be done ASAP; she can be reached at 371-5492 or rbarlow2@nycap.rr.com.
Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to take the fields down, it
was wrapped up in under an hour, good job.
COACHING COMMITTEE: Taking CDYSL's youth module is a good opportunity
for our coaches to meet the coaching license requirement. Coaches should
contact the committee and can be reimbursed for the cost of the course.
Mark has the indoor Gym times, see him after the meeting to get a copy
of the Shen Facility use form and give him needed contact information.
Peter announced teams are required to send a representative to the facility
use meeting scheduled for November 28th at 6 PM at HS East. Mark reminded
coaches that you are required to have a copy of your facility use form
with you at each team practice held in the Shen Gyms. Coaches should
be the first to arrive and the last to leave. No playing outside the
gyms, this includes bouncing or kicking the soccer balls. If something
is broken or gets broken, report it and keep Mark informed as well.

contact Mark by the Tuesday, proceeding this weekend, his e-mail is
