Minutes of November 15th, 2005

The next meeting will be on Friday December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the Ravenswood. All coaches and assistants are invited. After a brief meeting the club will have its Annual Holiday Party.

PRESIDENT: Christ Community Church thanks everyone for the soccer equipment donations.

PREMIER LEAGUE: As reported before, NE Region 1 applications are due December 1st and are available on line a www.enysoccer.com. State Cup applications are due Jan. 6, 2006. Please provide Mich with updated Premier team contact info.

CDYSL: CDYSL is looking into IRS requirements for the clubs. Broadalbin-Perth has withdrawn their application and is working with Fulton United Soccer Club. Schuylerville Soccer Club is applying for membership with CDYSL. Future registration may be “on-line” only depending on what ENY mandates. Fall league play went well with 23 teams attending. Commitment forms for Spring of ’06 are out by Nov. 16; forms are due at the league office by Jan. 13; the commitment forms are due by Jan.30th; the preliminary placements will be set by Feb. 17th; free withdrawal of teams will be allowed up until Feb. 24th

The coaches meeting will be on March 27th for the U8 and U10 teams; March 28 for U12 and U14; March 29th for U16 thru U19 teams and March 20th for all coaches who missed their assigned meeting.

Rosters are to be distributed during games. The outdoor season stats on Sunday, April 23rd and ends on Friday, June 30th. Volunteers are needed for the Seeding Meeting. Do not use your no play date to avoid conflict with school events.

REGISTRAR: New team registrations that don’t list player addresses are to be used for league games.

TOURNAMENT: Nothing to report.

VOLUNTEER: Coaches get the name of your volunteer coordinators to Liz at 383-0180 or at lizk@nycap.rr.com.

COACHING COMMITTEE: Nothing to report.

INDOOR: Indoor gym times are being assigned. Players must remain under control by the coaches and there is to be no roaming the halls. Coaches should be the first one there and the last to leave. Cancellations need to be made by Tues. evening by contacting Frank Berger at 371-0654 or by email at www.vrb7key@aol.com. Gym closure information can be attained at 881-0612 or by going to www.shenet.org.

NOMINATING: Nothing to report.

OLD BUSINESS: Nothing to report.

TOP SOCCER: Nothing to report.

NEW BUSINESS: An F Licensing Class is being offered on November 28 and 29 (Mon and Tues) from 6-10 p.m. Contact John Seltenreich at 859-3951 if you or an assistant want to attend. The course is at the Commons and is being paid for by the club.
