The next meeting will be held on Thursday, September
21st at 7:30.
PRESIDENT: Peter read a letter of appreciation from John &
Sharon Ryan on behalf on their son Scott. The 2006 Clifton Park Tournament
was dedicated in memory of Scott Ryan. The Ryans made a donation
of $2,000 to the Club in honor of Scott. Peter announced Karin Thorne
and Mike Campisi will be asked to come up with a plan to honor Scott
with this donation. Fall Rec is close to being full; applications are
still coming in. Rec starts on the Saturday, September 9th.
TREASURER: Thank you was received from the Clifton Park / Halfmoon
Emergency Corp. for the donation received from the Club. Raffle winners
were selected and will be notified.

CDYSL: Registration of teams will not be allowed without documentation
that the coach is licensed. Coaches can apply for a one-year waiver;
the form can be downloaded from their web site. The Empire Cup had 92
teams participate. Referee assignments will be done in house this season.
ENY is undergoing reorganization. Cut off for the fall CDYSL play is
September 1st. Late team withdrawals and forfeits remained a problem
last spring. Team membership fees may go up to $100. Clubs and their
officers are covered under CDYSL/ENY insurance policy. The league ODP
is looking for coaches and assistant coaches. Trophies are in, see John
after the meeting.
REGISTRAR: Do not wait to get your team registered. Peter stated
that with the exception of U-8s, all the tryouts were completed
in July and there will be no reason teams cannot be registered in time
for indoor play, etc. Question was raised can the Club pay for the $10
Risk Assessment fee. Small discussion followed and matter will be brought
to the Boards attention.
TOURNAMENT: Rick announced we currently have 118 teams and are
looking for two additional teams to round out brackets.
VOLUNTEER: Peter reminded everyone that
each parent has a 4-hour volunteer commitment for each child that plays
for Clifton Park; 2 hours as needed during the season and 2 hours for
our Tournament in July.
COACHING COMMITTEE: Coaching evaluation forms are available with
