Minutes of March 21st, 2006
The next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, April 11th.
PRESIDENT: Reminder that the Commons does not open for practice
until April 1st. Parkside is available for practices. Scrimmages with
outside or non-club teams are not allowed until May 1st and then they
must be scheduled. Team photos are done. If your team did not get a
photo taken through the photographer and you would like to have a team
picture in the Tournament booklet, you need to get a photo to Janet
Cody. Her e-mail is Acm2ej@aol.com. Due to spring break, next months
meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of the month, April 11th
at 7:30 PM. Starting in May, Club meetings will be moved back to an
8 PM start time. Applications for CDYSLs new Empire Cup are available
at the front table. Peter announced a Board meeting would follow our
regular club meeting.
PREMIER LEAGUE: Mich has schedules for all the PL games; she
needs the game #s for the league and referees. Please see Mich
after the meeting to confirm your schedule.
INDOOR: Mich has schedules for all the PL games; she needs the

CDYSL: Mandatory coaches meetings will be held on March 27th
(U-8 & U-10 teams), 28th (U-12 U-14 teams), 29th (U-16-U19
teams) and 30th (make up meeting). Meetings will start at 7 PM and have
been moved to the Colonie Community Center on Central Ave. Schedules
will be given out at this meeting.
REGISTRAR:Nothing to report.
TOURNAMENT: Rick announced preparations are well under way. Janet
Cody needs your teams Ad Coordinator name ASAP. A meeting for
the Ad Committee is scheduled for March 16th at 7 PM. We are looking
for new committee members to get involved, always welcome to join us.
Meetings are held monthly at 6:30 PM prior to the Club meeting. All
Club teams MUST fill out an application to participate in the Clifton
Park Tournament. All Club teams are eligible to play but are not automatically
entered. Applications are needed for planning purposes. Applications
are due by April 15th, so please have them by the next meeting.
VOLUNTEER: Nothing to report.
COACHING COMMITTEE: A meeting will be held following the Club
and Board meeting.
INDOOR: Indoor gym times are being assigned. Players must remain
under control by the coaches and there is to be no roaming the halls.
Coaches should be the first one there and the last to leave. Cancellations
need to be made by Tues. evening by contacting Frank Berger at 371-0654
or by email at www.vrb7key@aol.com. Gym closure information can be attained
at 881-0612 or by going to www.shenet.org.
JR REFEREES: The referee course for the upcoming spring rec league
will be offered to any students in the Shen District who are in grade
7 or above. The course for first time referees will be held at the Club
House for three consecutive weeks as follows: Boys will start Monday,
March 20th from 7 to 8:30 PM and Girls Wednesday, March 22nd from 7
to 8:30 PM. Experienced coaches meet one night on Tuesday, March 28th
from 7 to 7:45 PM. Bring a pen or pencil. If you have questions, call
