PRESIDENT: Arrangements have been made to have team photos taken on the weekend of March 11th and 12th. Club teams will be taken on Saturday and Premier teams will be taken on Sunday. The U-10 C girls are looking for additional players for the outdoor season, contact Alan Ball at 237-3367 for information. We will send a thank you letter to them and invite any of their players to join our Top soccer program. The spring Rec program is filling up; some vacancies still exist in certain age groups. Forms are available on our web site http://www.cliftonparksoccer.com . Peter announced a Board meeting would follow our regular club meeting.

INDOOR: Reminder to keep the gyms clean and as you found them.

CDYSL: Rosters have been changed this year; coaches will receive an abbreviated roster that contains the players name, age and jersey number. This roster will be stamped and should be given to the referee and opposing coach. Coaches will still receive a stamped roster with all the detailed information and this should be carried by the coach for verification purposes. Mandatory coaches meetings will be held on March 27th (U-8 & U-10 teams), 28th (U-12 – U-14 teams), 29th (U-16-U19 teams) and 30th (make up meeting). Meeting will start at 7 PM and be held at the Sand Creek Middle School. Schedules will be given out at this meeting. To help alleviate the shortage of referees on Sundays, Premier league and State Cup home games should be scheduled for Saturdays. CDYSL’s Annual General meeting will be held on August 13th at 1 PM. The web site lists coaching classes that are being offered in the near future, a D licensing course will be held at Charbonneau’s April 3rd to the 9th. The appeals meeting was held and final team placements will be posted on the web. Pat Ramundo stated there is a zero tolerance policy in regards to poor conduct towards an official. The Chazy Soccer Club was approved as an affiliated member.

TOP SOCCER: Is looking for volunteer coaches and helpers. A lot of the players need one-on-one coaching so there is a great need for volunteers to help with this very rewarding program. Even if you can only donate a few Saturdays, please consider helping in this way. It’s a great opportunity for our high school players to get involved also. The program will take place on the Commons during the Spring Recreation season and go from 12:30 to 1:30 on Saturdays. If you are interested or have questions, contact Mara Buchanan 899-5598 or Catherine Suriano at 383-5692.
